I highly recommend their #10 as it's the run-of-the-mill Italian style cold sub that does the trick.

They make their own giardinera and it's phenomenal!  Not too spicy and just the right amount of heat to flavor combination.

Good chip selection with kettle cooked chips!

The time's I have gone there are many people sitting enjoying their subs and you have to walk through them to get to the back to order. The menu is huge! The main guy working there took one look at me and knew it was my first time. He ran me through the menu and the different options which was very nice. We always get the Godfather and it does not disappoint. It is a little pricey but everything is always fresh and worth it. The staff is always nice and friendly as well. We went to Bubs Subs after seeing the shop on "Chicago's Best."  It was well worth the drive.  My wife... read moreWe went to Bubs Subs after seeing the shop on "Chicago's Best."  It was well worth the drive.  My wife got the Mambo Italiano. She liked the sub and said the bread was great. I had the cheesy beef with the homemade giardiniera.  It was very good.  The bread was soft and fresh.  The giardiniera was full of fresh vegetables and very spicy.  I'm used to the giardiniera you get in a jar at the grocery store.  Bubs Subs giardiniera put the stuff in the jar to shame.  It was absolutely delicious.  

The staff was friendly and helpful.  They knew we hadn't been there before,  and they were very happy to explain the sandwich sizes.  Our total bill was a little over $21.00.  Not bad for two subs, a bag of chips and two drinks.  If you go,  and you should go, keep your eyes peeled as you get close to the shop.  It's kind of hidden behind a  McCallister's Deli and in front of a Home Depot.

We'll definitely be back.  They sell their giardiniera too.  $8.99 a pint.  Some of that might be coming home with us on our next visit. read less

It was fantastic you can taste how fresh the bread is. They also have green river!!! Which is amazing and hard to find like red cream soda in other establishments read less
