Great service and the guy explained to us that the large would be good enough for the both of us. But me being me, I decided to get one large sandwich for each of us. I ordered one El Nino sandwich, and it was fantastic. The girl taking my order was friendly and helpful, as it had been a while (maybe 2-3 years) since I analyzed their menu. I believe that, at one time or another, I tried every sandwich I'd consider ordering, so just went back for the classic.

The sandwich? First, tasty beef! Second, fresh made bread. Third, 'home made' giardiniera, which is probably one of the best I've had!

So, a good crew serving good food in a clean restaurant. Winner! read less

I really appreciate the passion they put into their subs. We went to McAllisters and it sucked! No personal attention. The service was as good as the screwed up orders at McDonalds so we will NOT go back to McAllisters and we will definitely be frequenting Bubs Subs from now on.

I highly recommend their #10 as it's the run-of-the-mill Italian style cold sub that does the trick.

They make their own giardinera and it's phenomenal!  Not too spicy and just the right amount of heat to flavor combination.

Good chip selection with kettle cooked chips!

I'd recommend this place to all those in the Algonquin area. read less
