She liked the sub and said the bread was great. I had the cheesy beef with the homemade giardiniera.  It was very good.  The bread was soft and fresh.  The giardiniera was full of fresh vegetables and very spicy.  I'm used to the giardiniera you get in a jar at the grocery store.  Bubs Subs giardiniera put the stuff in the jar to shame.  It was absolutely delicious.  

The staff was friendly and helpful.  They knew we hadn't been there before,  and they were very happy to explain the sandwich sizes.  Our total bill was a little over $21.00.  Not bad for two subs, a bag of chips and two drinks.  If you go,  and you should go, keep your eyes peeled as you get close to the shop.  It's kind of hidden behind a  McCallister's Deli and in front of a Home Depot.

We'll definitely be back.  They sell their giardiniera too.  $8.99 a pint.  Some of that might be coming home with us on our next visit. read less

The time's I have gone there are many people sitting enjoying their subs and you have to walk through them to get to the back to order. The menu is huge! The main guy working there took one look at me and knew it was my first time. He ran me through the menu and the different options which was very nice. We always get the Godfather and it does not disappoint. It is a little pricey but everything is always fresh and worth it. The staff is always nice and friendly as well. I highly recommend their #10 as it's the run-of-the-mill Italian style cold sub that does the trick.

They make their own giardinera and it's phenomenal!  Not too spicy and just the right amount of heat to flavor combination.

Good chip selection with kettle cooked chips!

I had to add to my review along with adding he 5th Star.

The samwich was the best I've had of an Italian. The meats were a great combination but the ingredients were exceptionally fresh. The tomato which is always subpar on sub sandwiches was fresh and juicy. The bread had a perfect blend of softness but didn't fall apart from the juices inside of the tomato, garidinera, and vinegar and oil mixture.

In fact my bag of chips were hardly touched!

I ordered one El Nino sandwich, and it was fantastic. The girl taking my order was friendly and helpful, as it had been a while (maybe 2-3 years) since I analyzed their menu. I believe that, at one time or another, I tried every sandwich I'd consider ordering, so just went back for the classic.

The sandwich? First, tasty beef! Second, fresh made bread. Third, 'home made' giardiniera, which is probably one of the best I've had!

So, a good crew serving good food in a clean restaurant. Winner! read less
